Help us reach our Trade School Student goal!
Meet John, Mechanical Engineering is his path into the job market.
"I am John Biboh from Kenya and I am 20 years old. In life I have quite a number of things to achieve. These are the dreams that I have in mind for my future: one of my biggest dreams in life is to be one of the best engineers in mechanical engineering. I want be like an inventor of a kind. Also I would like to have a bigger garage so that I can create employment to other mechanics and also function like a school for the youths who would like to join the mechanical engineering field.
My second ranked dream is to have the ability to help the community around me to have a better life and also be a man who can be a mentor to the others who would have bigger dreams and bigger minds so that they can have a person to look at and have a reason to live and work harder to get to their dream lives. I would like to have a brighter future that can brighten other youths after it has worked out successfully.
About my schooling, I would like to thank Light Up Hope for paying my fee and for their support towards my school. All the dreams I have are useless if not sharpened. My schooling in mechanical engineering will really help a lot and act as a stepping stone for my journey to the brighter future. With the knowledge on mechanical engineering, it will be easier for me to open a garage that can serve people and also educate the young stars in the same field. When I am done with schooling, it will be easier for me to get a job and at least have some money to sustain my life and also support my parents. When I am finished with school I will have the courage to face the world with the knowledge that I will be having. - John, mechanical engineering trade school student."
These students have chosen an alternative education path to University and hope to learn a trade that will help them gain employment and/or begin their own small business. Sponsorship of our Trade School students will help provide the following:
- all school fees and supplies
- living expenses so students can focus on their studies
- job training opportunities
Our Goal: Raise $12,000 in the next 12 months to provide 5-6 students the opportunity to attend Trade School
