Sponsor the rural central Kenya farming community – KIBINGOTI
KIBINGOTI is a rural farming village in central Kenya. Most children are partial orphans, living with either a single mother or a guardian like an aunt or grandmother. Most children in our KIBINGOTI program live in a small brick home on a small farming plot, which they are able to use for sustenance farming. This makes food security dependent on the amount of rain and whether or not it produces a quality harvest. The major challenge facing parents in this community is the challenges of unemployment and lack of education. Most young adults see no future after high school, or even primary school. This has created a community struggle with alcohol and drug abuse. The parents and guardians of the children in our program struggle to provide a balanced diet, clothing, and school fees for the children, and medical care is mostly unattainable.
Your monthly sponsorship of $35 or more per month will help provide food assistance, school fees, books, a school uniform, access to medical care and mentorship programs for the parents and guardians.
